EU Adopts C-ITS Strategy

The European Commission has adopted the Co-operative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) strategy, to facilitate the pathway towards co-operative, connected and automated mobility.

The aim of the strategy is to allow the first vehicles which can communicate with each other, and the requisite supporting infrastructure to be in place on EU roads, by the target date of 2019.
