Google Trialling Parking Info in Maps

Google have been testing an update to their Maps App to provide information regarding parking availability to navigation displays.

The facility will grade parking as "easy", "medium", "limited" for destination locations when using the navigation facility within maps, next to the estimated arrival time. Although the facility will not be linked to real-time data (it will use historic data to base the information on), Google's traffic app Waze has used data from Inrix to provide 'Where To Park' information.
