Roborace have held their first race in Buenos Aires, as a support race for the Formula E Grand Prix.

The autonomous racing formula is still in development, but this was the first occasion where two cars have been allowed to race. The cars use electric drivetrains to exceed 100 mph, although unfortunately the losing car crashed into a barrier at a turn. The goal is to have multiple teams racing identical cars, but using their own software to control them.
