Home / News | posted on 02 03 2017

A consultation period for an update to the forms which are used to specify Traffic Signal Controller (TSC) functionality in the UK, is now underway.

A consultation draft for Issue D of the 1827 forms (commonly still referred to as 141's), has been produced to update the available capabilities. These are based on the improvements introduced in Issue C which saw increased capacity for facilities, such as the number of phases and detector inputs; along with the integration of a number of time saving features. The consultation is seeking comments and suggestions from traffic signal practitioners in the UK about the Issue D, use the link below to download a copy. The consultation period ends on 17th March 2017.
